Adopt-a-School Programme @ Pilz:

Pilz Ireland has joined the European Tech Cluster Adopt-a School Programme in an effort to make a real contribution to helping primary and post primary school students discover how IT can be used creatively for fun and for commercial gain.

Pilz’s goal is to help children learn basic problem-solving and project design skills:

  • Logical reasoning
  • Debugging problems
  • Developing ideas from initial conception to completed project
  • Sustained focus and perseverance

To understand the basic ideas about computers and programming. Learning to program offers benefits for everyone: it enables students to express themselves more fully and creatively, helps them develop as logical thinkers, and helps them understand the workings of the new technologies that they encounter everywhere in their everyday lives.
